Dear Log Bookie: I Has decided to run away.

My own MOM FuRGOT MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!

It was on MONDAY and she had ALLL day off and I kept waitin, and waitin, and waitin for her too be like SURPRISE!!!!

And fur there to be cake or steak or sometin but dare wasn't anything. 

Turnin two is a big thing cause it means i'm leagal or sometin, and I think it derserves a big PAWTY wit all my friends or sometin!

Would someone pease adopt da little sweet doxie please?

New howse must feed me stuffed kongs that has hot dogs or kibbles, peanut butter, strawberries, nO BANANAS. Steak every other wednesday, Wellness Dog Food Sweet Potato and Fish stuffs, no yucky Purina One dat mom bought us dis time. 

Must allow me too sleep wit you on yur bed...

Caption: Texas's second birthday is a happy one for me, as I've never had a puppy until their second birthday. Texas has been a challenge for sure, and his reactivity towards people, makes it hard for us to have a normal dog-owner relationship. Though if anything it makes us a lot closer. I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Graduation Time

Its time for the 3rd Wilderwood Graduation: September 9-16th. Ben & Daniel will be graduating with their autistic children and their families.

Graduations are always extremely busy/happy/emotional/stressful times, as its a huge adjustment for the kids, dogs and parents.

The kids because they are in a new environment some for the first time in years; for the dogs because all of the sudden their trusted and esteemed people are not paying them any attention, the parents as they learn to work with the dog and child team.

Its an extremely intense 8 days, but so worth it in the end..

I can't wait to meet a new set of friends. I am going to miss both dogs terribly, but Ben more so. He's "my" baby that I brought into the org, and trained for the most part myself. But he's going to do great I just know it!!

A bit thank you to his family for giving him to Wilderwood!

Yes I feel bad for forgetting his birthday,but I seriously don't think he even noticed/cared. I know he doesn't actually.. But July 5, Texas turned 1!!!!

Need I say anymore?
I did see Veda yesterday, and he's doing just fine, jumped all over me to let me know he "missed" me....(heh).

Ben went on his first outings today, we went to the Library and PetSafe Dog Daycare, he did great in both places. If he could talk...I think he would be saying something like this:

"Oh wow are we going in here? Huh we are? WhOA what's this place, LOOK at this, OOMG a kid, canIgoseehercannaIplease?please?please? No? ok! What else is here?SIt?ok i'll sit, but check out this smell...."and on and on.

Which is just fine! We'd rather him be excited to be a place than freaked out! I believe he was born to be a service dog, just took a little bit longer to find that out.

Scrapbook Pages

With all the added free time, I have found lots of time for scrapbooking, I am determined to print them out someday soon! But printing out 12x12 sized pages isn't cheap!
5 days until Tim leaves, I think I'm going to miss this chap. I know Texas will. I have a 30ft line outside for Tim; and he loves going out on the porch and watching the cars go by. Texas will do his thing for a little while..and then go to the door, and whine until I let Tim back inside.
This is Texas's first experiance with the "mysteriously disappearing dogs". I will interested to see how he reacts to Tim leaving and possibly two more new comers.
On other note, I am thinking of fostering dachshunds for a local rescue group here. But I'll wait a bit before applying; it would be too tempting to keep them! :D

And some more pages for Midnights "book"; I haven't heard anything about her in a while.
I trust they have found a home for her, and she's doing well....
I miss her a lot. :((

December 10: Its been......

3 weeks and 2 days since Midnight departed; I miss her a lot....I miss puppy raising!
I have to keep reminding myself that Texas cannot go into the stores with me! LoL.
March or April cannot come soon enough. In the meantime...I'm working on Midnight's scrapbook, which I know will get sorely neglected as soon as I'm back in school.
I'm still trying to decide whether or not this is how it was arranged in my head...but oh well :D

If you can't tell already, I looove digital scrapbooking. Basically this is just like Traditional paper scrapping, except the comfort and neatness of your computer.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS3; but there are many many other programs you can use that are either cheaper, or Free! Unless you have $300 laying around to spend on a program...lol.
I wish I could say that I designed this; but I do not have that ability..just yet..lol.
Most of the things I use are Freebies, downloaded from scrapbook designers blogs/sites, and others I have purchased from their stores.
